All conference attendees are encouraged to attend the announcements of
the annual AACC and ACC awards. Come celebrate accomplishments
in our field!
Coffee Breaks
Coffee breaks will be held 9:00 a.m. –
9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday in the foyer areas on the Ballroom level.
Conference Banquet Dinner
Tuesday, June 18, 7pm-10:30pm,
National Air and Space Museum (NASM)
You must bring your ticket to the NASM event. You will not be allowed to enter without a ticket!
The traditional conference banquet will be
transformed to an evening
(see menu)
at the
National Air and Space Museum (NASM) on the
National Mall.
The buffet style dinner will enable attendees to eat, network, and stroll around and enjoy the many exhibits and activities at the NASM.
ACC attendees and their guests will have exclusive use of the museum for
the evening,
including free screenings of shows in NASM's IMAX Theater and Planetarium
as well as opportunities to try the fun
National Mall
Ride Simulators and/or
Interactive
Flight Simulators.
While there normally is a charge for the simulators during the
regular museum hours, ACC attendees and their guests will be able to try
the simulators free of charge at our banquet.
Museum docents will also be available throughout the evening to discuss various exhibits with interested attendees.
Attendees will be able to see the following IMAX and Planetarium shows
during our conference banquet evening on June 18. Again, while there normally
is a charge for these shows during the regular museum hours, the shows
are free for our attendees and their guests at our conference banquet.

NASM is about 1 mile (about 8 blocks) south of the conference hotel.
It is a pleasant walk through the heart of the city.
Shuttle buses will also be available.
They will run continuously between the hotel and the museum,
starting from 6:30pm until 10:30pm. At the conference hotel, the shuttle bus pick-up location is on the K Street side of the hotel. At the NASM, attendees are welcome to use both entrances: Independence Ave at Sixth Street and Jefferson Drive on the Mall.
A banquet ticket is included with the registration packets for Member, Non-Member, and Student/Retiree registrants. Additional conference banquet tickets can also be purchased for $75 each. Children under 4 are free.
Closing Reception
Wednesday, June 19, 7:00pm - 9:00pm,
Grand Ballroom
The ACC closing reception will be held at the Grand
Ballroom. Please come celebrate, with your friends and colleagues, the
closing of the ACC.
